Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of your pet, all cats must be in a carrier when arriving at the clinic and while in the waiting area. Even the calmest of cats can be startled by a passing truck or unexpected loud noise. So please, always have your cat in a secure carrier when traveling. If you have more than one cat you will be bringing in for an appointment, or just need help with getting your cat/cats from your car, we will be more than happy to assist you. We encourage you to be present during your cat’s examination, however, please allow our veterinary technicians to assist the doctor in handling your cat.

When you arrive for your appointment with Liberty Hill Veterinary Wellness, you will be asked to answer a few questions, or fill out forms for drop off appointments and surgery. If you wish to fill out these forms ahead of time, you can visit the Download Forms tab from our main page.

Pharmacies and Prescriptions Policy

To protect your pet from counterfeit medications or medications that have not been stored correctly. The doctors at SBVW do not write prescriptions for online pharmacy requests. This policy is out of an abundance of care for your pets. Since these types of providers usually do not have a licensed pharmacist on the premises nor is the supply chain guaranteed, our drug manufacturers will not guarantee the drugs purchased from these locations.

Therefore, the drug manufacturers will not cover the cost of any additional treatment an animal may need due to a medication’s ineffectiveness. The doctors can fill your prescription in house, you may also order your medications from our online store for ease of delivery and if your email is on file, you will receive weekly promotions to help alleviate the cost concern, (all of your medications ordered from the online store are guaranteed).

  • If you have a local location that has a licensed pharmacist on the premises, i.e. Walgreens, HEB, CVS, etc., the doctors are more than happy to send your prescription.
  • If you elect to have us refill any prescriptions here in the hospital we ask that you allow us a 24 hour turnaround time to have them ready for you.
  • A staff member will call you as soon as the prescription is approved and filled.

Thank you for your understanding that we hold this policy to help protect you, as our client, and most importantly the health and wellbeing of your pet.
